For 10 years Kate was based in the Melbourne CBD and ran her own personal training business; training everyone from elite athletes, to rehabilitation following acute and chronic injury or surgery. She loved working one-on-one with her clients and watching their strength and confidence grow as they realised they could overcome their injuries.
Kate also worked in Tokyo for 2 years as a fitness instructor and on cruise ships throughout the Caribbean and Mediterranean for 3 years managing the fitness program onboard. (She loves a cruise itinerary chat!). For 8 years Kate also worked for Medtronic and witnessed first hand the incredible cardiac technology available for patients with arrythmia’s. Launching new technology for patients was also exciting because she knew it was going to have life changing impacts on many peoples lives.
Inspite of being constantly active and muscularly strong as part of her career, Kate was helself diagnosed with Osteoporosis, and initially joined Osteostrong South Melbourne as a member. Now as a coach, she is excited to be supporting and motivating our members to bring her own first hand experience, and care to our amazing members.
