Anne has been travelling from Bendigo to Ballarat each week to attend OsteoStrong sessions & invest in her bone health. Her latest DXA results are incredibly encouraging:

Lumbar spine T-score
2023: -2.7
2026: -2.0

That’s an improvement of 26% in her T-score, with the latest DEXA report now describing the lumbar spine as Osteopenia rather than Osteoporosis.

Celebrating Lee, and her remarkable DEXA scan results in the centre this morning!

Lee’s numbers speak for themselves:
9.2% increase in lumbar spine bone density
9.7% increase in right femoral neck bone density
4.5% increase in left hip bone density
2.8% increase in right hip bone density

These improvements are a wonderful milestone and reflect her committed approach to bone health over time. We’re incredibly proud to be part of our members’ journey towards stronger bones, better balance and healthier ageing.

OsteoStrong Ballarat have been instrumental in assisting me with reversing Osteoporosis for me. After a low impact ankle fracture in July 2023, a DEXA scan revealed that I had Osteoporosis – something I had no clue about! After it had healed I began going weekly to OsteoStrong Ballarat. A 12mth follow-up DEXA scan in September 2024 showed that I had reversed the Osteoporosis in my lumbar spine by 0.4, from -3.0 to -2.6, improving it almost to the stage of the lesser Osteopenia. I was so stoked to know that and actually cried with relief in the knowledge that all I’d been doing to improve my physical health and bone strength had paid off! I’m converted for sure and never miss a week!

This is the lovely Kaye who was diagnosed with Osteoporosis 6 years ago.  Kaye became a member of our centre last year to help improve her bone density and help manage pain in her back and hips.  In a recent DEXA scan, Kaye has shown an improvement in bone density of 7.6% in her lumbar spine and a 9.7% improvement in her left hip.

Jan has been a member at OsteoStrong Ballarat for just over 12 months.

Her recent DEXA scan showed improvement in her hips and over 3% improvement in her spine.

Had an appointment with my rheumatologist today, I have rheumatoid arthritis. I am in remission! The disease is no longer active! I have been on the same medication for years, before starting with you, but the improvements began after Osteostrong, I can even start to reduce my meds!”

I’ve been going to OsteoStrong Ballarat since the start of September last year as I was in the danger zone of osteoporosis, in only a few months my body strength has increased by 72%, my type 2 diabetes is back to normal, although I do take medication to control it, I have been able to decrease the amount I take, my balance is heaps better & my night cramps in my legs/feet are pretty much gone.

A big congratulations to our very own Wonder Woman Rhonda for hitting a massive 400% increase in functional bone performance since commencing at OsteoStrong 12 months ago.
