Congratulations to Yvonne for achieving a 60% increase in strength since starting with us. Yvonne is a great example of how committed and consistency delivers long term results.

We are very excited to share our lovely member Vicky’s results from her recent bone density scan (swipe the post to see the scan in detail). She saw a 5.7% increase in her spine and a 4.1% increase in her right hip. Between the 2 scans she has had, OsteoStrong is the only change Vicky has made to her lifestyle and her GP was very happy to see her improvements!

Congrats to our amazing member, Denise! 🥳
In just over a year, she’s achieved an incredible 98% increase in strength across all our machines. Her grip strength has also become nearly equal in both hands, improving by 2kg in her left hand and 1kg in her right. On top of that, her functional sit-to-stand test now places her above average for her age! 💪
Denise continues to make great progress with her balance too, showing improvements in both eyes-closed and single-leg exercises ⚖️👏
She’s a fantastic example of how consistency and hard work lead to outstanding results. Keep up the great work, Denise!
Meet Sue. She began her journey in May2025 with lower back pain and moderate strength and balance scores. Less than a year , the results of her baseline re-test speak for themselves:
🦵Sit-to-stand improved from 10.5 to 24 reps in 30 sec.
👊Grip strenght increased to 34.2 kg
🙌 Balance scores improved.
👏 And the best part … her lower back pain is now GONE.
Overall , her strength score increase by 63%a.

Strong bones, strong balance…and apparently strong ballet skills too.
Our member Myra is showing off her ballet skills with our coaches Hannah and Luke after her session.
Turns out when you build strength from the inside out, a few ballet moves aren’t so hard after all. 🩰
When Serena joined OsteoStrong, she reported aching in her lower back at L4.
Reducing discomfort was important, however her primary goal was to improve her bone density.
Since joining, Serena has completed 53 sessions.
Her measurable outcomes to date:
• 47% increase in overall functional strength
• 5.9% increase in lumbar spine bone density in 12 months, A further 1% increase in her spine is projected to move her from osteopenia into the normal bone density range
• Total mean hip bone density increased by 1.0% (0.99 to 1.00 g/cm²), indicating hip stability and prevention of expected age-related bone loss
• Now pain free in her lower back

You keep this place running. You keep the team organised, the members looked after, and the day moving smoothly, even when it’s chaos behind the scenes. You somehow know what’s going on at all times, and if something needs sorting, you’ve already done it.
Our members love you, and so do we. You make the front desk feel welcoming, efficient and calm, which is no small feat.

After a history of bone density decreasing, Ann has just achieved something worth celebrating.
Following 100 sessions and even a four-month break due to an ankle injury, her latest DEXA scan shows improvement in both her hips and spine.
Her results:
• Left femoral neck +5.9%
• Lumbar spine +1.4%
• Right femoral neck +0.5%
Bone density up across all three measured areas.
We are so proud of the work Ann has put in. She shows up, she commits, and she brings such a positive energy to every session. It is always a pleasure to work with her.

“I couldn’t quite see how so little time spent would have any effect on my bone density, but I persisted and thanks to the whole team I am delighted with the results.”
Stronger bones. Real data. Earned results.
Steve is a long term member here at OsteoStrong Manly and has now hit 175 sessions! Steve joined us with the aim of strengthening his knees to avoid having surgery. After 175 sessions, here is a look at the progress he has made:
> Upper Body Strength: improved from 350kg to 689kg of force pushed
> Lower Body Strength: improved from 581kg to 1160kg of force pushed
> Core Strength: improved from 264kg to 367kg of force exerted
> Postural Strength: improved from 347kg to 594kg of force exerted
On top of this, his doctor no longer thinks knee surgery is necessary for the next 5 years at least!
As you can see, Steve started in a very strong position but has still managed to progress in both force exerted and also strength and integrity of his joints. We love seeing the positive effect OsteoStrong can have!

Big congratulations to Theo on his promotion to 2IC (Second in Charge or manager)
In just one year with us, Theo has made a massive impact. His natural leadership, positive mindset, and calm consistency have stood out from day one — he leads with kindness, brings great energy to every session, and genuinely cares about the people he’s supporting.
Theo joins the team with a diverse background in strength & conditioning, elite sport, and exercise science. He’s worked at Southampton FC as a strength & conditioning coach with young academy players, as well as the Women’s first team. He also brings experience coaching group exercise across a wide range of ages and abilities, helping people stay active and confidently challenge their bodies.
Now he’s bringing all of that to what we care about most: supporting our community to build bone health, balance, and strength for life — improving both healthspan and lifespan through consistent, meaningful action. 🦴✨

From OsteoStrong Manly to Perth – and what a journey it’s been 💙
Today we’re farewelling our wonderful member Will as he heads west to Perth, and it feels like the right moment to reflect on just how far he’s come.
When Will first joined us, he’d received an unexpected diagnosis of osteoporosis. He was already active, eating well, and doing all the “right” things, but his bone density told a different story. So he added OsteoStrong to his routine, just one session a week, and quietly got on with it.
Fast forward 12 months.
✔️ Spine bone density up 5%
✔️ Femur bone density up 3.7%
✔️ T-score improved from osteoporotic to osteopenic range
✔️ Hips now in the normal bone density range
No medications. No high-impact workouts. Just consistency, commitment, and trusting the process.
Will hasn’t just improved his numbers, he’s changed his trajectory, moving out of osteoporosis and into a much stronger, more confident future. We couldn’t be prouder.
There’s no OsteoStrong in Perth (yet 👀), but knowing Will, and knowing how much he believes in what this has done for his health, you never know what the next chapter might hold.
